Our Story
BAM'S Tactical Coatings was built on a lifetime of service, discipline, and a passion for craftsmanship.
Our founder proudly served three years in the U.S. Army with the 82nd Airborne Division during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. After his military service, he dedicated the next 25 years to law enforcement, serving 15 years as a police officer before spending the final 10 years of his career as a SWAT officer. Following his retirement in 2021, he wasn't ready to slow down.
Looking for a new challenge, he joined a local Cerakote shop, where he quickly developed a passion for the craft. What began as a way to stay busy soon became a pursuit of excellence. When the shop eventually closed its doors, he decided to take the next step and build something of his own. He founded BAM'S Tactical Coatings in 2024 with a commitment to providing high-quality, professional Cerakote services built on the same values that guided his military and law enforcement career.
In 2025, he earned his Certified Cerakote Applicator certification with one goal in mind: deliver professional, high-quality firearm finishes backed by integrity, precision, and attention to detail. Today, he continues to serve the firearms community through BAM'S Tactical Coatings while also working part-time at Defender Outdoors in Fort Worth, Texas.
